Troy Daniels is one step closer to realizing his NBA aspirations. Monday, Daniels accepted an invitation to the Charlotte Bobcats training camp. One of VCU’s most prolific sharpshooters, Daniels drained 124 3-pointers last season before playing for the Bobcats in the NBA Summer League.
Daniels averaged 6.7ppg and 2.0rpg in while averaging 17.2 minutes in six games for the Bobcats during the 2013 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. He drained 8 of his 19 (.421) 3-point attempts which topped his senior season average despite a longer 3-point line and more talented competition.
