The [fs]Flying Squirrels[/fs] open their inaugural season tonight, assuming the weather holds, against the Bowie Baysocks. The “official kickoff party” is at Home Team Grill in The Fan starting at 6pm. VCU sophomore [vcu]Terrance Saintil[/vcu] was dismissed from the VCU basketball team yesterday. No reason was given.

The [rk]Kickers[/rk] open their season against NCAA national champions UVa tomorrow at 4pm. Tickets are 12$ for adults and 7$ for kids. You can buy them online.

SPORTS! Rams win! Rams win!

Your [vcu]VCU Rams[/vcu] are the 2010 College Basketball Invitational Champions. After overcoming a nine-point half-time deficit, the Rams defeated the St. Louis Billikens 71-65 in the second round of the CBI finals.

SPORTS! CBI finals continue

[vcu]VCU[/vcu] plays in the second game of the CBI finals tonight in St. Louis. If VCU wins tonight they will be the 2010 CBI champions. Tip is at 8pm.

SPORTS! VCU takes it to the Billikens

[vcu]VCU[/vcu] won their last home game of the season in the first game of the CBI finals defeating the St. Louis Billikens 68-56. VCU travels to St. Louis for game 2 on Wednesday. [ur]Kevin Anderson[/ur] was named honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press.
