Westover Hills Neighborhood Association meeting Thursday and picnic on Saturday

Picnic is from 4 – 7:00 PM and the meeting kicks off at 7:00 PM.

I know it’s the picnic that you really care about so here are all the details for you Westover Hills residents:

Come out for neighborhood family fun this coming weekend! The neighborhood picnic is Saturday, May 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Prince Arthur between Evelyn Byrd and New Kent (same location as last year). Admission is also be the same as last year (volunteers get in free, WHNA members receive a discount, and the cost remains very low!)

As in years past,  we will have beer and wine, food from O’Tooles, an airbrush tattoo artist, a balloon artist and other kids activities. NEW THIS YEAR: a bounce house for the kids, raffle giveaways for WHNA members, a dessert bar, and great live music from MoneyPenny!!!

We’re looking for volunteers to do one-hour shifts.  If you can help us out, click here (Volunteers get free entry into the picnic as a thank you!)

If we get rained out on Saturday, the rain date is Sunday, May 17.

You could also easily volunteer at the meeting on Thursday:

Join the WHNA for our monthly gathering on Thursday, May 14. We’re meeting at 7 p.m. at TaZa on Forest Hill Avenue. Grab a complimentary coffee or snack (or purchase from TaZa’s broad selection of beverages). Meet your neighbors and find out what’s going on in our neighborhood. We hope to see lots of you there!
