Trio of thickos rescued on Saturday
Be careful on, in, near, about, within a few feet of the James.
As you can see from the Westham guide above the river was at about six feet on Saturday. Anytime the river is over five feet you need to be wearing a life jacket if you are going into the river. You should also probably wear a life jacket if you are messing around near the river that can lead to you falling into the river.
Three people were rescued Saturday after they fell into the James River, Richmond fire officials said.
Crews brought the three people to shore about 8:30 p.m. from an area north of the Huguenot Bridge near the Pony Pasture rapids.
