Succedaneum (sək-sə-ˈdā-nē-əm): a substitute.
I like to think there are many things I do better after a few beers, including: dancing, telling jokes, making popcorn and of course calling ex-girlfriends. Spelling however is something I do very poorly sober so I can’t imagine the train wreck after a few beers in my belly. Perhaps you’re a better person than I, if so go forth and spell for the masses.
