Local company provides cloud-based storage for homeowner documents

A local web-based startup now offers homeowners a way to store documents in the cloud.

A Richmond-based company, SEElogix, is helping to make homeownership less stressful by offering cloud-based storage of home-related documents.

For a one-time fee of $149,1 users receive an online account to store closing papers, maintenance contracts, inspections, and more. Users can also create reminders to change smoke detector batteries, maintain lawn care, etc.

“Our unique system is all about simplifying and organizing all the tasks that come with homeownership and empowering our clients to stay on top of all of the most important aspects of their home and its upkeep,” said Mike Wade, Founder and CEO of SEElogix.

The company was one of 15 finalists in last year’s i.e.* Start-Up Competition, vying with young local businesses Shockoe Denim and contest winner InLieu, among others, for a $10,000 prize.
