Police Investigate Hotel Robbery

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are searching for an unidentified man who robbed the Candlewood Suites at 15820 Woods Edge Road on April 18. Police said the man entered the hotel at about 4:50 a.m. and passed a note to the clerk. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled in an unknown direction in a teal-green and tan Mitsubishi Montero. The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, 23-26 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. He wore a dark baseball hat, blue jeans and a black jacket.
