I’ll never understand people going to spots to enjoy the beauty and leaving trash.
Went for a walk on Belle Isle this morning before it got Hades hot. Found this disgusting tableau on the northside rocks
The list of things wrong in this picture is long, not counting the basic littering is bad and alcohol illegal on Belle Isle. I understand drinking a beer while sitting on or in the James. But there is simply no reason to bring bottles when there are so many canned beer options. If you’ll able bodied enough to bring it in your able bodied enough to bring it out or carry it to the recycling bin that was 100 yards away!!!
Final count from that little impromptu tree dumpster was two bottles of crappy beer, two juice packs, and about three candy wrappers.
