Maymont will glow this weekend

Time to bust out your glow outfit that you never thought you’d wear again.

Maymont is well know for its dignified mansion and orderly gardens. They harken back to a time of utter properness when roles and clothing were clearly defined. For a short period of time this all changes. This weekend the park will look like a 1980’s WHAM concert with neon, black lights and glowing aplenty.

It’s time for the Maymont Glow on Saturday, July 9th starting at dusk.

The Maymont Glow! is your chance to see Maymont in a whole new light, uh, we mean glow! We’re opening the gates after hours to celebrate summer and Maymont. Families should come, run/walk together and enjoy glowing in the dusk of a warm, Richmond evening. Each participant gets cool glow items and we encourage you to dress up in your best glow outfit…you could win prizes!

Race Details

$35 if you register before July 1, 2016
$40 if you register after July 1, 2016
$12 – Children 8-17 ($18 after July 1, 2016)
Children under 8 are free
*T-shirts and T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after June 30

Race day registration will be available up to the 1000 participant race limit.
