We posted bad doughnut news earlier today with the closing of the Sugar Shack Coffee downtown but the circle of doughnut life stops rolling for no man.

Lombardy Sugar Shack reopens tomorrow morning with a new espresso machine, new coffee brewers, new kitchen floors, an extra dough table for more donut production, and a much more temperature controlled building. Still waiting on the arrival of our 2nd fryer and proofer but once they arrive we plan to never be short on donuts again. Also, cloudy with a chance of fried chicken donuts at Lombardy tomorrow.
The first comment on Facebook requests that they next build more parking. I’m looking forward to seeing the plans for a parking garage that is 20 feet by 15 feet but goes up 10 stories.
