Lizard in Forest Hill Park

If you can’t take care of a pet, leaving it in Forest Hill Park is not a feasible option.

This is what happens when I don’t go on Twitter on a Sunday. Here is the rest of the conversation including possibly what type of lizard. Status of lizard is unknown at this time.

Please tell me someone contacted animal control. This thing probably won’t survive many more cold nights and could be dangerous to pet and small kids. Also, shame on whomever would let something like that go. There are people out there who will take your unwanted pets. Letting them go free is not an option.

The poor guy was dead. I didn’t poke and prod it, but it looked like its head might have been missing (or just stuck under some leaves, I’m hoping). The flies had just found it.

Any updates of if he’s been found or where in the park he was spotted? I’m a reptile enthusiast and live across from the park. I’m going to go look for him, any updates would be appreciated 363-6094
