Large bonfire on Belle Isle

Bonfires and alcohol are illegal in the James River Parks system but with no real police presence fires and drinking will continue to be commonplace.

That is a massive fire when you consider from how far away this picture was taken. The fire was eventually put out by RFD from the bridge above the island.
