Here’s what we know so far.
We’re calling this a homicide because it has been officially termed as such by the Richmond Police Department. Before you tell us we’ve missed one–was it actually a death investigation (often self-defense)? Was it within city limits? Did the person die of wounds received in a different year? All of those deaths do not get officially counted as Richmond homicides for this year.
Clemente Jimenez Lopez, 31, of the 1400 block of Armfield Road.
- Where: The parking lot of the Town and Country Apartment Complex, on the 1400 block of Armfield Road on the Southside.
- When: Sunday, March 6th at or around 2:12 AM.
- Weapon: Gun. One wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police at first thought the victim’s name was De Jesus-Baldes Noe, but it turned out to be an alias.
