Here’s what we know so far.

We’re calling this a homicide because it has been officially termed as such by the Richmond Police Department. Before you tell us we’ve missed one–was it actually a death investigation (often self-defense)? Was it within city limits? Did the person die of wounds received in a different year? All of those deaths do not get officially counted as Richmond homicides for this year.

Victim

Clemente Jimenez Lopez, 31, of the 1400 block of Armfield Road.

The Incident

Where: The parking lot of the Town and Country Apartment Complex, on the 1400 block of Armfield Road on the Southside.
When: Sunday, March 6th at or around 2:12 AM.
Weapon: Gun. One wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Investigation

The police at first thought the victim’s name was De Jesus-Baldes Noe, but it turned out to be an alias.
