I’m not dead yet

Community news sites have been a part of this from the beginning, an update on their future.

RVANews is going away and that makes me sad, angry, and other emotions that I’ve stomped down into the dark black box I keep in a corner of my soul. It is honestly the first job I’ve had, like EVER  that I’ve enjoyed every single day. Okay the last couple not so much. The people I’ve worked with have made me laugh, think, and question. For that I’m eternally grateful and I’m crushed to see our little band break-up and go solo.

I’ve been writing community news posts since the English first looked out upon this great river and said, “Good spot for a brewery. Let’s settle.” Technically it’s been 7+ years. I want to continue writing community news posts. I will continue writing community news posts. The location, name, and quantity of those community posts is up in the air but I and a few others are working to find the answers.

For now keep coming back to this URL. I’ll keep posting, making typos, misspelling owrds and hopefully giving a little insight into what’s going on and why living here is so damn wonderful. If there is a change I’ll let you know as soon as I can. Bear with me, there will be hiccups.
