Good morning, RVA! It’s 32 °F, and today’s high will hit 50 °F. Seems like a pleasant sauna after yesterday’s wintery freeze zone, doesn’t it? Expect lots of clear skies and sunshine, too.

The RTD’s Graham Moomaw continues his investigation into the case of the perplexing Stone Brewing Co. permits. It looks like the prescient permits were submitted for “free dirt.” I joke, but at the bottom of that article, several City Council members talk–on the record–about how the EDA could use some tweaks. The power of good journalism!
Today’s best headline, this from WTVR: “Adolescent grape-throwing shenanigans provokes angry outburst from Amelia deputy.” The accompanying stock image is pretty good, too.
Remember the Shocke Stadium and how we were all so very emotional about it? Well, Ned Oliver over at Style Weekly does and asks some Council folks what’s the deal with that whole thing. No one knows!

- Rams face Maryland Eastern Shore tonight at 7:00 PM. The Hokies beat MES by 25 points, so I think the Rams will be fine.
- Hokies fend off Liberty after a slow start, 73-63.
- Caps head to Colorado to take on the Avalanche at 9:00 PM.
