From the Health Brigade:

We have always been out front carrying the flag, charging forward. We have always been devoted to protecting and promoting the right of everyone to have access to healthcare.

Fan Free Clinic is now Health Brigade.

Our new brand pays homage to our history of leading with a fighting spirit to respond to the health needs of the community.

With you by our side, we are a “brigade,” a formation of individuals devoted to a cause. Think bucket brigade–a human chain working together for the common good.

We have weathered lots of cultural storms since 1968 when we opened as the first free clinic in Virginia. But, we adapted with your support. We’ve been advocates for those we serve knowing it’s the right thing to do.
A crusading spirit lives in every board member, employee, volunteer and donor. We are not afraid to be pioneers. Our efforts are often not mainstream. But, that’s okay. We are health crusaders.

We know we make a difference.

We are Health Brigade.
