i.e.* kicks off 2014 Entrepreneurial Trilogy

This year’s events look to inspire and shape RVA’s new businesses.

This year’s i.e.* Entrepreneurial Trilogy, a three-part series of free events meant to empower entrepreneurs and area start-ups, kicks off tomorrow with attorneys and entrepreneurs sharing free legal advice for current and aspiring business owners.

Topics up for discussion include how businesses can protect their intellectual property, when and how to form a legal identity, and how to avoid costly lawyer fees, among others. The event is hosted by Troutman Sanders, located at 1001 Haxall Point.

The second event will showcase ideas from new and aspiring entrepreneurs, taking place on March 4th at the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park.

The final trilogy event will be the Start-Up Competition, in which a group of finalists comprised of new businesses will vie for a $10,000 grand prize through an online public vote.1 The winner will be announced on April 17th at Richmond CenterStage.

Those interested in attending any Trilogy event should register online.
