Cyclist hit on Broad Street
Accident took place Thursday afternoon on Broad Street near North Harrison.
Sometimes a wrong turn can result in more than being a few minutes late.
The accident happened at 3:27 p.m. Thursday near the intersection with North Harrison Street.
Police say the woman was riding eastbound when she turned left at the intersection into oncoming traffic and was struck by an SUV traveling westbound. She was transported to VCU Medical Center.
The incident is under investigation by VCU Police; possible charges are pending against the cyclist.
