Broad Rock Library expanding hours
Broad Rock Road is bit out of the traditional H&H area but if you need a book on Sunday it’s an option.
The Broad Rock Library (4820 Old Warwick Road) is the happy beneficiary of an extra $50,000 that the city council provided in this year’s budget to allow Richmond Public Library to open one location on Sundays. Broad Rock was chosen as that location. In addition to now being open from 1-5:00 PM on Sundays, Monday and Wednesday hours at that branch have been expanded to a 10:00 AM opening time. This means that the Broad Rock Library will open to the public for an additional 8 hours weekly. These new hours began this past Sunday (September 14, 2014).
New Broad Rock Library Hours
- Sunday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Monday and Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
