Belle Isle Moutain Bike Skills Area getting more skills
Ramps and rollers on the way, with work starting this weekend.
From the horse’s or in this case bike’s (rvaMORE) mouth:
rvaMORE advocated for more progression on Belle Isle Skills area to help riders learn more skills. Working with the City Department of Parks and Recreation a plan was formed to build new and exciting bike infrastructure. The photos show the ramps and rollers that will be installed starting this Saturday the 23rd. It will take 2 weeks to install these features and for the park to reopen.
From my novice point of view these look terrifying to the more skilled and those willing to learn these are awesome. It’s great to see the Skills Area continue to get attention and grow.
