Battery Park Stories

You’ll learn about Battery Park’s legacy and the pivotal role it played to Civil Rights advocates Oliver Hill, Spottswood Robinson, and others.

Please join the Battery Park Civic Association and your neighbors this Sunday at Partnership for Families for our inaugural storytelling event.

Longtime residents of our neighborhood will weave a tale full of history, adventure, and nostalgia. You’ll learn about Battery Park’s legacy and the pivotal role it played to Civil Rights advocates Oliver Hill, Spottswood Robinson, and others. Stories from everyday people will also be told, capturing the true spirit of Battery Park.

It’ll be an afternoon full of discovery and lively conversation, one we’d be honored to share with you. This event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
