RTD Dines at Lucca Enoteca

Lucca Enoteca is in one of my favorite buildings in Richmond, the Berry Burk. I’ve been told by food experts that you can’t judge a restaurant by how much you like the building it resides in. It’s rules like this that prevent me from becoming a world class restaurant reviewer.

The review is a tale of two vastly different meals and you’ll need to read the full review to get the details. Since we’re the optimistic sort here are some of the highlights.

And coming back to the Thursday visit — the one with the crudo — our risotto was this marvelous thing: generous and hearty, finely balanced yet a bit more minimalist than you’d expect.
