Food Truck Friday at Woodland Heights Baptist

Too hot to cook but not too hot to eat.

Last week’s hickory smoked Barbecue event seemed to be a big hit, and we hope to do that again sometime in early fall—but Friday the Food Truck Court is back in full swing with gyros, wraps, clubs, paninis, and lots more…plus soft serve ice cream for dessert. Friday night from 5:30-8:30 in the parking lot of Woodland Heights Baptist Church (611 W. 31st St.), come join your neighbors and friends for some good eats and good conversation. Friday promises to be a hot one, but the chance of rain is small. It should be a great night!

The expected trucks, as confirmed by our contact with the Food Trucks, are:

Harry’s Picnic Basket — Gyros, wraps, clubs, and more. Specializing in gluten free meals.

Sammich — Paninis, various sides, and house-made ice cream.

Stuffed Bunz — Chef prepared sandwiches and hand-cut fries to fill yer belly.

… and, for dessert …

Mr. Softee — Premium soft serve ice cream sundaes, cones, banana splits, shakes, and more.
