Friday, March 4, 2011, will resume Olio’s wine dinner series, this time featuring the “Wizards of Washington State.” Some of the state’s best will make an appearance, paired with seasonal selections.

Friday, March 4, 2011, will resume Olio’s wine dinner series, this time featuring the “Wizards of Washington State.” Some of the state’s best will make an appearance, paired with seasonal selections.

Dinner starts at 6pm, and includes four courses paired with wine for $30 a person, including tax but not gratuity. Call 804.355.5182 with any major credit card to book your seat. No refunds later than 72 hours prior to the event.

Course One

  • Washington state oyster stew

Course Two

  • Garlic-spinach-basil pesto pasta bake with a bubbly parmesan-asiago topping

Course Three

  • Olio’s slow cooked Berkshire pork: 10-hour espresso-rubbed organic pork shoulder with a corn and black bean salsa (vegetarian version available)

Course Four

  • Warm apple lattice torte: Washington state apples with Bev’s homemade ice cream
