The Richmond Flying Squirrels are here and they are a bit fearsome. At a 2 PM press conference this afternoon, the team displayed their colors and logos. As you can see in the image, the official colors are Radiant Red, Squirrels Silver and traditional Black.
“We have taken great lengths to create an overall identity that will be appealing to fans of all ages,” said Flying Squirrels’ CEM Chuck Domino. “The unique nature of our entire image gives us great flexibility, and we know our fans will be able to take pride in the new look of their new team. We are excited to have the potential of creating one of the most popular brands in professional sports.”
In addition to the logo, the team opened its retail store and online store this afternoon. The retail store can be found on the right side of The Diamond.
Flying Squirrels Team Store December Hours:
Monday-Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Sunday: Closed (With exception of December 20th, when store will be open from 10 AM – 4 PM)
