Show off your Richmond smarts
We’re stoked to launch a new weekly feature here on RVANews, produced in partnership with the Valentine Richmond History Center, that will test your knowledge of our city’s history and give you the chance to win some pretty great prizes.
Every Friday, the RVANews Picture of the Day will feature an image from the Valentine’s digital archive, which, by the way, is a total treasure trove of Richmond history. They’ve got over one million photographs documenting all things Richmond from the 1850s to the present. It’s amazing.
Each image will have an accompanying question related to Richmond history. Of the folks who answer correctly, one winner will be picked who will then get to choose between an 8×10 print of the featured image or a two-pack of tickets to any 2010 walking tour (valued at $20).
