Scott’s Addition Boulevard Association seeks volunteers to help mulch newly-planted trees

The association recently received a grant to plant 88 new trees, which now need the loving care of neighbors.

From the Scott’s Addition Boulevard Association:

Scott’s Addition Boulevard Association needs your help. This Sunday, May 1st from 9-12pm, volunteers are needed to help mulch 88 new trees that were planted this past winter. This project is part of a major mulching and water initiative to keep the trees alive and healthy through their first summer. Sunday will not be too labor intensive as the trees are only spread out over a few blocks.

Supplies are needed, if the volunteers could bring:

  • Rakes
  • Shovels
  • Gloves
  • Wheelbarrows
  • Pick-up trucks
