The robberies took place over the past week on Shrader and Horsepen Roads, respectively.

Henrico Police are searching for a suspect in two robberies that they believe may be related.

On Saturday, July 11th at 6:40 AM, officers responded to a convenience store in the 8700 block of Shrader Road for reports of a robbery.  The suspect entered the business, approached an adult male clerk, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect then removed cash from the register, took tobacco products, and then fled the business on foot. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as black male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5’5” to 5’8”, weighing between 150 to 160 pounds, with a light to medium complexion. He was reportedly wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, a ski mask, and light colored pants.

Then, on Monday July, 13th around 4:50 AM, officers responded to a convenience store in the 6300 block of Horsepen Road for yet another robbery. In this case, police say the suspect approached the victim in the parking lot, displayed a handgun, and forced her inside the business. The alleged robber then ordered the victim to place cash into a bag, and she complied, and the suspect fled the business on foot.  There were no injuries reported in this incident either.

The suspect in this incident is described as a black male, 30 to 38 years old, 5’7” to 5’9”, weighing between 210 and 230 pounds. Police say he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, and a mask over the lower portion of his face.
