PHOTOS: CORT Furniture opens new showroom on North Boulevard

The new showroom is 11,000-square-feet and open to the public.

CORT Furniture held an open house to show off its new 11,000-square-foot showroom at 1207 North Boulevard Thursday evening, July 23rd.

The company rents ‘Class A’ furniture to businesses and consumers and then sells its inventory once it is no longer in mint condition.

Representatives say one of the biggest considerations the company made when deciding to move to the Boulevard was the neighborhood’s population density and number of new rental units, which is far greater than that of the former location on West Broad Street in the Near West End.
