New Restaurants in May

Saison Market

May 1st

Co-owners Jay Bayer and Adam Hall wake up bright and early each morning to provide Jackson Ward with gourmet food, wine, beer, and Lamplighter coffee (on tap!). That’s pretty much everything you need to make the world go round. Or at least to make Richmond go round.

Fancy Asian Gourmet

May 6th

Fancy Asian Restaurant is located in the old EVO spot on Forest Hill Avenue across from Target and is now open–not only are they open, but they’re ready to serve. Our RVANews Restaurant Menu Gathering Expert stopped by and was met with four friendly faces. She reports that they were crest fallen when she only left with a menu.

Goatocado Cafe

May 23rd

Huzzah! We don’t have to chase the Goatocado food truck around the city anymore, because there’s now a cafe location at Carytown Bicycle Co! Go get some quinoa goodness, you lucky Carytowners, you.

Brux’l Cafe

May 23rd

This “Bistronomie” features a menu ranging from burgers to escargot, satisfying both the true French-lover and the more traditional palate.

Christian’s Pizza

May 26th

People love this straight-outta-Cville pizza place. At press time, their featured pizza was this glorious Cuban. Come on!
