Last year’s Shamrock the Block fighter arrested for fighting with police again

Some traditions are better than others.

Last year Jason Dotson was involved in a tussle with Richmond Police at the Shamrock the Block in Shockoe Bottom. This year Shamrock the Block moved but Jason didn’t get the message and got himself into trouble again Sunday morning in Shockoe Bottom.

Full Story on ABC8.

Around 2:30 a.m. on March 15, 23-year-old Dotson, of Colonial Heights, was arrested on the 100 block of Virginia Street in Shockoe Bottom. He was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Other than a soap dispenser torn off a wall at Fat Dragon I haven’t heard of any incidents at the new Shamrock the Block on the Boulevard or Shockoe Fest that was held at the 17th Street Farmers’ Market.
