Ironclad Coffee Roasters, Sugar Shack Donuts teaming up for Trooper Dermyer benefit

Enjoy a tasty donut and delicious cup of coffee to support the family of a fallen Virginia State Police trooper.

Two local businesses are teaming up to help the family of a fallen Virginia State Police trooper. On Monday morning, April 25th, Ironclad Coffee Roasters and Sugar Shack Donuts will come together for a benefit supporting Trooper Chad Dermyer’s family.

The coffee roaster will sell coffee and Sugar Shack donuts at its space in Scott’s Addition from 8:00 – 10:00 AM, with all proceeds benefitting the trooper’s family. Both businesses are donating the food and drink. The event is being organized with the help of Richmond United for Law Enforcement.

Dermyer was shot and killed by a bus passenger during a training exercise at the Greyhound bus terminal on North Boulevard on March 31st.

Donations of all amounts will be accepted beyond the cost of the donuts and coffee.
