Favorites: Lehja’s goan lamb vin d’alho

I admit I have a bit of an aversion to the Far West End when it comes to food. With some bright exceptions, it’s bursting with chains, chains, and more chains. But Lehja is a fine-dining restaurant serving Indian food so delicious that it’s worth my drive from the Northside to Short Pump. For dinner I love the Goan Lamb Vin d’alho ($17). The meat is extraordinarily tender and well-seasoned, while the chili-tomato sauce demands an order of naan to soak up what’s left behind.
