It was two years ago today that I launched the RVAJazz blog and wrote the very first post about Fight the Big Bull’s new relationship with Clean Feed Records. What better time than now to thank each and every reader that has visited the website! You have given the blog a purpose and have helped propel it to a platform of greater exposure, which I hope can benefit every musician in Richmond. Now: Comments? Suggestions? Complaints? Come on, let loose.

On Monday, the 2009 Year in Review launches its 12 short parts, which will continue until January 1st. It’s been fun putting them together and I hope you’ll enjoy looking back at events that may have slipped your memory. I haven’t forgotten the Richmond Marching Band’s run in with the police (how could I?), but find it bizarre that it happened all the way back in March. Maybe you’ll find something that surprises you, too.

So, to the loyal readers, new readers, and those who stumbled here on accident: Thank you. You know what’s next…RVAJazzfest.
