Congratulations to Fight the Big Bull, the latest addition to Clean Feed Records.

Clean Feed Records is centralized in Lisbon, Portugal. Says the label, “Clean Feed aims to record innovative contemporary jazz projects that can make a difference, building a catalogue that will be internationally recognized for its quality and coherence.”

FTBB was also invited to perform at The Hideout, Elastic, and The Hungry Brain, all in Chicago, with the show at Elastic to be performed with fellow Clean Feed artist Ken Vandermark. EDIT: (See follow-up story here)

“Led by the Patchwork Collective’s Matt White and featuring a grab bag of the area’s post-grad players — including Bio Ritmo’s Bob Miller and the two-fisted trombone section of Reggie Pace and Bryan Hooten, with Brian Jones and J.C. Kuhl adding additional horsepower on the CD — the Bull’s arrangements are crafted to provide plenty of space for impassioned solos.” (Peter McElhinney, Style Weekly)
