Big Bull on the road
Greetings from Brooklyn, where tonight Richmond’s own Fight the Big Bull performs for Search and Restore’s Victory Party. FTBB brought their massive and joyous sound to D.C. last night for the first of two nights presented by the NYC new jazz organization.
Greetings from Brooklyn, where tonight Richmond’s own Fight the Big Bull performs for Search and Restore’s Victory Party. FTBB brought their massive and joyous sound to D.C. last night for the first of two nights presented by the NYC new jazz organization. In a unique basement apartment called Subterranean A, tons of people packed in for the evening, which featured the headliner Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society (who had just come from a free performance at the Kennedy Center only hours prior).
CapitalBop has a great recap and photos of the night.
The main event is tonight at Littlefield in Brooklyn, which also includes a performance by Steven Bernstein’s Millenial Territory Orchestra. Follow RVAJazz on Twitter to stay updated.
