Alton Brown comes to RVA in November, tickets on sale Friday

The science-minded foodie ups the ante (and antics) with a live performance tour.

Alton Brown, the star of Good Eats and current host of Cutthroat Kitchen, will visit Richmond in November as part of his Edible Inevitable Tour. The author of seven books, Brown’s show features comedy, multimedia lecture, live music, “extreme” food experimentation, and more.

“We have combined science, music, food, and a few other things no one in his right mind would allow me to do on TV, into a two hour extravaganza that’s fun for the whole family,” Brown said. He’s cultivated the show’s material for about a decade, and wrote most of the musical numbers which all take a comedic look at food.

Alton Brown will appear on November 5th at 7:30 PM at the Carpenter Theatre. Tickets ($53 – $128) go on sale Friday at 10:00 AM online, at the CenterStage box office, and by phone at 1.800.514.3849.
