On view at the VMFA Studio School Jan. 28 through March 7 are “Monday Night Painters” and “Spotlight Exhibition: Eleanor Rufty.”
In the Studio School Main Gallery is “Monday Night Painters,” an exhibition of recent paintings by students of Joan Elliott. They are Temple Avery, Jan Bergen, Fred Carter, Cheryl Dillard, Jeff Dodge, Marsha Goodman, Sallie Grant, Paige Guizzardi, Kathy Hall, Hendry Jones, Elizabeth Lamp, Susan Little, Adrian Luxmoore, Rich Marino, B. Millner, Elizabeth Patteson, Martha Prideaux, Kathy Stuart, Will Turner, Hal Wallof, Katherine Whitby and Joan White.
On view in the VMFA Studio School Parlor Gallery is “Spotlight Exhibition: Eleanor Rufty,” an exhibition of recent works on paper by long-time Studio School instructor and artist Eleanor Rufty.
A public reception for both exhibitions will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8. The VMFA Studio School is as 2911 Grove Ave. in Richmond. The Studio School galleries are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
