From PPS: In the fall of 2007, Dr. James M. Victory, Petersburg Superintendent of Schools, invited the community together to form a Council that would discuss opportunities, ideas and news of the Petersburg City Public Schools. Attendees were invited to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the school division. The second Council meeting will be held Tuesday, January 29 at 6 p.m., in the auditorium of Petersburg High School, 3101 Johnson Road. It is open, as before, to the general public and the media.
