A motorist on the way to work was hailed a hero after pulling a fellow driver from a burning vehicle on Interstate 64 near Short Pump Saturday morning, and now the story has gone viral, most recently being picked up by The Daily Mail:
A 65-year-old man pulled a driver from a burning car after it crashed along a highway in Virginia.
The Toyota sedan was traveling on Interstate 64 in Henrico County around 4.15am on Saturday when it ran off the road and struck a sign post, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Henrico Fire Capt. Daniel Rosenbaum identified the quick-thinking rescuer as Meredith Congress.
