Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens continues its summer schedule of evening activities in July with Families After Five every Tuesday evening and Flowers After Five every Thursday evening. (Regular admission applies.)

On Tuesdays, the Garden is open until 9:00 with an emphasis on the Children’s Garden and WaterPlay area. Food is available for purchase from 5:00 until 7:00pm in the Children’s Garden and WaterPlay operates until 8:30pm.

On Thursdays, the Garden is open until 9:00 with wine-tastings, live jazz and dining. The schedule for wines and performers is as follows:

  • Tuesday, July 17: Taste Rosé wines from Southern France with music by Matt Walton (guitar), David Ashby (bass), Devonne Harris (drums)
  • Tuesday, July 24: Enjoy Italian red, white and Rosé wines with music by Antonio Garcia (trombone, vocals, percussion), Alan Parker (guitar), Brian Sulser (bass)
  • Tuesday, July 31: Explore wines from New York’s Finger Lake region with music by Jason Arce (sax), Matt Hall (bass), and Devonne Harris (drums)
