From ART 180:

The Big Show has always featured work from our spring programs and has always been a crowd pleaser. We see an opportunity to bridge gaps in our community and create an event that brings families who go to the Jonny Z Festival together with families who go to The Big Show. We are holding it in Abner Clay Park right around the corner from our building in Jackson Ward. This location should  accessible to a wider audience.
With about 135 young artists performing and exhibiting work, their families and neighbors from the community AND folks who regularly come to the Jonny Z Festival each year, we think this is going to be something, well, really big.

There will be food trucks, WRIR DJ’s, and the Bizarre Market. We are also adding lots more children’s activities. Each activity will actually the run by the youth exhibiting work and the activity will tie in to their project. An special activity is being created and run by a group of Jonny’s friends in honor of our pal.
