North Richmond News is working with the Richmond Police Department to keep the community informed of crimes in our area. We will report crimes by block numbers, not specific addresses (except for businesses).
- A female reported she was assaulted by an unknown female who tried to rob her at 1:00 p.m. on January 22 on the 100 block of East Ladies Mile Road.
- A male was found deceased in a home on the 1200 block of West Catherine Street at 9:52 a.m. on January 17. No indication of foul play. Medical examiner to determine cause of death.
- A juvenile female was assaulted by a known male at 9:30 p.m. on January 17 on the 12 block of St. James Street.
- A male reported he was assaulted by a known female at 7:30 p.m. on January 16 on the 110 block of St. James Street.
- An employee at a business at 2403 Chamberlayne Avenue reported an unknown male with a gun robbed the business at 8:00 p.m. on January 17.
- A male was found deceased at a home on the 3200 block of North Avenue at 9:00 a.m. on January 19. No indication of foul play. Medical examiner to determine cause of death.
