From the city’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities comes word that Pine Camp Arts and Community Center will hold an open house on Saturday, April 4 with “Creative Juice,” an exhibit featuring the work of instructors and adult art students.

The opening will be held in the Spotlight Gallery from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Paintings, pottery, weavings, jewelry, and photography will be on display.

The event will include demonstrations in the pottery, photography and painting studios. Guests are invited to view the art show, observe students working in the studios, and register for spring classes and summer camps. Refreshments will be served and a drawing will be held to win a free art class.

The exhibit will continue through May 16. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Spring art classes at Pine Camp begin April 13. Pine Camp Arts and Community Center is located at 4901 Old Brook Road.
