Pedestrian Killed On Midlothian Turnpike

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a crash that killed one man. The crash occurred in the 8700 block of Midlothian Turnpike at about 10:40 p.m. on March 10. Police said a 2008 Mitsubishi Gallant sedan was traveling west on Midlothian Turnpike when the driver struck a pedestrian walking in the road. The pedestrian died at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The driver was not injured. Police continue their investigation into this crash.
