During a February meeting between Highwoods Properties — the developer behind both the planned Shockoe Bottom stadium project and the North Boulevard Gateway development — and residents of various North Richmond communities, the developers suggested Northsiders come together to provide input on the type of development desired along North Boulevard. Liz Turner (gwava4h [at] verizon.net) and David Curtis (jcurtis2 [at] richmond.edu) of the Rosedale Civic Association are working to coordinate a continued conversation on the development of the North Boulevard property surrounding the current Diamond ball field.
