The Petersburg Public Library sponsors the popular 3-part Brown Bag Lunch Series from Longwood’s Small Business Development Center starting March 11.  This series will explore 3 critical and rapidly growing areas for small business.  The first portion of the series will cover Business Concept, planning and budget, and the importance of credit. Sponsored by the Petersburg Public Library and the Social Security Administration.  Understanding and collecting benefits can be stressful, especially if you don’t know how to use a computer.  This program helps seniors navigate online applications for Social Security, Retirement, and Disability Benefits.  Space is limited so pre-registration is required. This program is also available at the Rodof Sholom Branch on March 3, from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

Open to the public in the lower level meeting room and gallery.  Anna is a Russian born artist and currently resides in Richmond, VA.  She is known for her vivid use of color in painting florals and landscapes.  She enjoys sharing the stories behind each of her paintings.  She also enjoys making jewelry.  This event will have food and a raffle for an art give away!
