A man, walking on Glenside Drive, in the Near West End was arrested for allegedly robbing a nearby bank, The Times Dispatch reports.
A Louisa County man walking along Glenside Drive with pocketsful of cash was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with robbing a nearby bank.
William J. Kolb III, 44, of Bumpass, was charged with robbing the SunTrust branch on Glenside Drive near Staples Mill Road shortly after the bank opened. The robber, wearing a Spiderman baseball cap, handed a holdup note to a teller, demanded and received cash and left, a Henrico police spokesman said.
Officer J.S. Morrison saw a man fitting the description of the robber — minus the Spiderman cap — walking west on Glenside a few minutes later and made an arrest.
