Injured deer goes on rampage at Short Pump Town Center
The deer smashed a car windshield in before bolting through the outdoor mall’s outdoor corridors.
A deer ran through Short Pump Town Center in western Henrico Thursday afternoon. One mall worker said the deer appeared injured and bleeding as it ran through the shopping center. A photo and video of the scene at the mall showed police and security captured the animal in a green area inside the mall near the Dillard’s department store.
Henrico Police were dispatched to the mall at about 12:40 p.m. for the incident.
There was no word on the condition of the injured deer at press time.
