Henrico Fire crews rescue man from burning apartment building

First responders provided a ladder, and the victim safely made his way to the ground.

Henrico Fire crews responded to an apartment complex fire in the 8400 block of Donovan Court early Saturday morning, near Parham Road and West Broad Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, WRIC-TV reports crews spotted a man hanging from a third story unit, attempting to escape the fire.

Crews quickly placed a ladder under the man, who made it safely to the ground. He was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for burns and evaluated for other injuries.
